The Philosophy

Hvar grown.
World class.

Soul Kitchen was born from a simple belief: the Adriatic's finest ingredients deserve the same reverence and precision as the world's great kitchens. We work with Hvar's fishermen at dawn, forage herbs from the island's interior, and source our meat from small Dalmatian farms.

The menu changes with the season - not because it sounds good in a press release, but because the sea and the land insist on it.

Candlelit tables in a centuries-old stone alley.

Best meal on the island - by far

We dined at Soul Kitchen on our third night in Hvar and instantly regretted not booking sooner. The tuna tataki was extraordinary, the wine pairing flawless. Service was attentive without being intrusive.

An unforgettable evening

Tucked in a beautiful Hvar alleyway, Soul Kitchen delivers proper fine dining on a Dalmatian island. The steak tatar and the Dalmatian Pašticada were exceptional. Worth every cent.

Hvar's best-kept secret

Discovered this gem by accident. The seafood risotto was the best I've had outside of Italy. Atmosphere is intimate and romantic - booking is essential, walk-ins rarely get a table.

Romantic, refined and memorable

Celebrated our anniversary here and the team made it incredibly special. The panna cotta with pistachio alone is worth the trip. A restaurant this good deserves far more recognition.
